Dead Man Workin'!

Here on the rock there is a long association with George Formby and leaning on the lamppost (where else?) near the town hall in Douglas there is a statue of the man himself in bike leathers playing a ukulele.

While there was some survey work going on one of the workmen left their theodolite in just the right place for me to grab this spot of George hard at work.
